An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Seixas in the 13th minute of play forced Parroselos FC's goalkeeper Pedro Valentim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Pedro Valentim made a huge save. Pedro Valentim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Seixas in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Pedro Seixas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Valentim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, VN Sande's goal looked a bit too open when João Moutinho came free, but Estevão lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, VN Sande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. Juliano Balsemão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Pedro Seixas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Valentim was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliano Balsemão in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Estevão lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juliano Balsemão to strike the kick off in the second half. VN Sande's Estevão lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliano Balsemão in the 52nd minute of play. VN Sande's Pedro Seixas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Seixas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pedro Valentim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Valentim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Seixas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, VN Sande's Estevão lago got control of the ball when João Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VN Sande's zone, João Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estevão lago came out of the goal and João Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Juliano Balsemão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juliano Balsemão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Estevão lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by João Moutinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 92 minutes into the match, VN Sande's goalkeeper Estevão lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Moutinho. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
