Silvano Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but David Brás made a huge save. Ademar Raminhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Brás having to interfere. Ademar Raminhos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Brás read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. SC Antua's David Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Raminhos in the 17th minute of play. Silvano Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Antua getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Delfim Lopes hit a great ball. Ademar Raminhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Brás having to interfere. David Brás made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Silvano Pedroso sent off a good shot on target. After 35 minutes of play, SC Antua's André Leite made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Prates was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inácio Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Prates having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar Raminhos was the one to do the kick off. SC Antua's David Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Raminhos in the 58th minute of play. André Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Samuel Prates made a huge save. Samuel Prates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Raminhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Brás having to interfere. FC Sousa's Ademar Raminhos got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ademar Raminhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Samuel Prates made a huge save. Ademar Raminhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Raminhos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, André Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Antua's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Inácio Moniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Prates. That made the score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. A collision led to FC Sousa getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cláudio Vides hit a great ball. David Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Raminhos in the 97th minute of play. SC Antua's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
