Hermes Águas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serrano FC's Belchior Quaresma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Serrano FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Brochado in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Quaresma saved Serrano FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Juliano Távora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serrano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juliano Távora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermes Águas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Figueiras charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Figueiras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Cocorinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Figueiras. If Juliano Távora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cocorinho FC's Hermes Águas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliano Távora in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cocorinho FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juliano Távora 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 61st minute, Duarte Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leal Salvado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hermes Águas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leal Salvado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Quaresma was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Serrano FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Paredes. If Juliano Távora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. Belchior Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Cocorinho FC's Idalécio Prada to fire away a dangerous shot which Belchior Quaresma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Belchior Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leal Salvado in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
