Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Aleixo kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Daniel Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formigas and the Ancas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Formigas's Daniel Amorim got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Hugo Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sacramento in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Sacramento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Sacramento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Formigas's Hugo Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sacramento in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Ferreira in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nivaldo Amorim saved Ancas FC from getting behind. Hugo Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nivaldo Amorim having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Formigas's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sacramento came free, but Hugo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nivaldo Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Ferreira in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nivaldo Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nivaldo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Hugo Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nivaldo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Formigas. Rogério Anjos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nivaldo Amorim. 0-1.

Nivaldo Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Nivaldo Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formigas. If Hugo Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Tomás Ferreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nivaldo Amorim. Tomás Ferreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Formigas's Tomás Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Aleixo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Formigas got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Aleixo. After a defensive mix-up in Ancas FC's zone, Tomás Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nivaldo Amorim came out of the goal and Tomás Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Ancas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Formigas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
