Cristiano Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Porto having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Cristiano Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murilo Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Setúbal in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Marco Araújo rounded Carmoes FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Pedro Vilhena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of OLIVAIS FC booed when Carmoes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Cristiano Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, OLIVAIS FC's David Resende made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Caneira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, David Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Pedro Vilhena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in OLIVAIS FC's zone, Jorge Caneira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Paredes came out of the goal and Jorge Caneira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Araújo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Murilo Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIVAIS FC. If Cristiano Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Porto having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the OLIVAIS FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
