Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Pacheco in the 13th minute of the match. Virgílio Amado was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Grigoris Bikakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Grigoris Bikakis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 19thth minute of the game Afonso Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Casinha's Virgílio Amado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Casinha's Virgílio Amado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Casinha from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Afonso Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgílio Amado. Virgílio Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match, Grigoris Bikakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Virgílio Amado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guido Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Lucas Leiva hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, SC Farense's Grigoris Bikakis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgílio Amado was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gentil Calado was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Vasconcelos in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgílio Amado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the SC Casinha defense, Afonso Vasconcelos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgílio Amado. The SC Casinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgílio Amado should have stopped the shot. SC Farense made a substitution. Estevão Macedo replaced Tarcísio Marinho. SC Farense's Sabino Telinhos was substituted for Afonso Vasconcelos. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Sabino Telinhos sped through SC Casinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Virgílio Amado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Bikakis in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Casinha's goalkeeper Virgílio Amado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Casinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Gentil Calado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the game, Grigoris Bikakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Virgílio Amado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the game, Grigoris Bikakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. SC Farense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Casinha the free kick. In the 93rd minute Salvador Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Grigoris Bikakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Casinha's Virgílio Amado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the SC Farense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
