Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, SC Casinha's Serafim Pacheco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. António Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Sidónio Peralta, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 9 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Virgílio Amado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Serafim Pacheco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of António Correia, 2-0. Quintino Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. António Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Casinha. António Correia was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Gentil Calado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gentil Calado really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Sidónio Peralta scored 3-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgílio Amado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sidónio Peralta took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Amado. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sidónio Peralta made the kick off in the second half. Sidónio Peralta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Vera Cruz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Gastão Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Casinha's protests and gave Gastão Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. Virgílio Amado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidónio Peralta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 58 minute of play. In the 61st minute Gentil Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Fábio Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgílio Amado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Peralta in the 63rd minute of play. Virgílio Amado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidónio Peralta in the 65th minute of the match. SC Casinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vera Cruz the free kick. After 87 minutes of play, Vera Cruz's Sidónio Peralta made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgílio Amado was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gentil Calado went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-6 was the resulting score. After 94 played minutes Vera Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Ribeiro. Vera Cruz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
