Serafim Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurício Mansilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Calado in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Flávio Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Valdujo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in SC Valdujo's zone, Gentil Calado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Mansilha came out of the goal and Gentil Calado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quintino Guimarães hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes in the game, Flávio Dantas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Virgílio Amado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Mourinho's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Dantas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SC Valdujo's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Pacheco came free, but Maurício Mansilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Quintino Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Casinha's protests and gave Quintino Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. Quintino Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The SC Casinha fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when SC Casinha's Serafim Pacheco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, SC Valdujo's Vicente Vidigal got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Baltasar Mourinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SC Casinha were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Valdujo for a fine match.
