Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Curado started the match with the kick off. Danilo Viveiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidónio Peralta's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Sidónio Peralta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tentugal FC's Danilo Viveiros. Danilo Viveiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fábio Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Tentugal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Ribeiro came free, but Danilo Viveiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidónio Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vicente Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sidónio Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Serpa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. António Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Curado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Álvaro Moutinho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tentugal FC's Danilo Viveiros. Danilo Viveiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidónio Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Danilo Viveiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Vera Cruz were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sidónio Peralta made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vera Cruz getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vicente Mendonça hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Sidónio Peralta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danilo Viveiros. Sidónio Peralta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. David Curado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tentugal FC's Gentil Casado got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vera Cruz's António Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Curado in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Vera Cruz getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vicente Mendonça hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Sidónio Peralta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Danilo Viveiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tentugal FC's Silvério Bulhosa got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidónio Peralta in the 88th minute of play forced Tentugal FC's goalkeeper Danilo Viveiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Tentugal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidónio Peralta came free, but Danilo Viveiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Vera Cruz's Sidónio Peralta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Viveiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vera Cruz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
