Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Máximo Galvão made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Galvão in the 4th minute of play forced Gondiais's goalkeeper Rogério Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Gondiais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesário Belém to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Máximo Galvão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Rangel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Flávio Azenha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Rangel having to interfere. If Leal Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Leal Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Rangel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Máximo Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máximo Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leal Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Rangel having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, SC Braga's Leal Leal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Rangel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Leal Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Américo Brandão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Magalhães in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Sequeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Américo Brandão however easily saved by the left post. If Flávio Azenha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Espírito Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Flávio Azenha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Rangel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Leal Leal got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Gondiais's goal looked a bit too open when Zeferino Ferreira came free, but Rogério Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Sequeira made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Máximo Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máximo Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogério Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Leal Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gondiais's Rogério Rangel got control of the ball when Leal Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gondiais's Rogério Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeferino Ferreira in the 63rd minute of play. Leal Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rogério Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Flávio Azenha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Azenha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Rangel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Américo Brandão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Sequeira went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Máximo Galvão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rogério Rangel came out and tried to block the shot, but Máximo Galvão slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 76th minute. When Leal Leal came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal Leal couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Gondiais's goalkeeper Rogério Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leal Leal. Rogério Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leal Leal in the 81st minute of play. With an all-out effort, SC Braga's Rogério Rangel threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeferino Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leal Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rogério Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gondiais's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Filipe Lencastre scored to the left of an out of position Rogério Rangel, making the score, 2-4. Rogério Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeferino Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Gondiais's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Galvão came free, but Rogério Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Leal Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leal Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Gondiais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Braga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
