In the 69th minute, Vicente Sequeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ultra Ferrolhos CF's zone, Vicente Sequeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Prestes came out of the goal and Vicente Sequeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Sequeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Prestes having to make a save. Cássio Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Virgílio Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Rangel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viriato Mourinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Rangel having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gondiais had played much better football throughout.
