Spectators: 7712 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 150) Matias Bentes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Pereirinhas 's Joaquim Valério sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquim Valério fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guarda having to interfere. In the 18th minute Matias Bentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Marcelo Rijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, SC Barbito's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bentes came free, but André Guarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, SC Barbito's Delfim Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Domingos Taveira kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bentes in the 33rd minute of play forced SC Barbito's goalkeeper André Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Guarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bentes in the 35th minute of the match. Matias Bentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. André Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Matias Bentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereirinhas 's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Bentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Guarda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romão Boaventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guarda having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Matias Bentes made a precise shot to the right of André Guarda. SC Barbito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delfim Teixeira to make the kick off. André Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bentes in the 61st minute of play. Jorge Durães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. André Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Bentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bentes in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Guarda saved SC Barbito from getting behind. In the 80th minute of the match Delfim Bessa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Palmeira skillfully saved the ball. André Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Rijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Pereirinhas 's goalkeeper Amado Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Cabral. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Matias Bentes sped through SC Barbito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Guarda. Matias Bentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guarda having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Cabral got free with Amado Palmeira in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Valério recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Guarda came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pereirinhas 's Matias Bentes. But to his dismay, Matias Bentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Pereirinhas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
