Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nivaldo Rego started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Delfim Dantas struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Cássio Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ventelharia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Guerra in the 5th minute of play forced Ultra Ferrolhos CF's goalkeeper Cássio Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Cássio Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nivaldo Rego in the 6th minute of play. Gaspar Novais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Prestes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Mourinho in the 10th minute of play forced Ventelharia's goalkeeper Claudemiro Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Ventelharia got a freekick which was hit by Idalécio Ferrão. Cássio Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Guerra in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Delfim Dantas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Cássio Prestes. Cássio Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfim Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Prestes having to interfere. Claudemiro Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Pinheiro in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ultra Ferrolhos CF's zone, Bento Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Prestes came out of the goal and Bento Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nivaldo Rego's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Cássio Prestes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ultra Ferrolhos CF's zone, Gaspar Novais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Prestes came out of the goal and Gaspar Novais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nivaldo Rego, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cássio Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Miguéis to strike the kick off in the second half. Nivaldo Rego scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Dantas came free, but Cássio Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcino Regueira kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cássio Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nivaldo Rego, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Alves during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Silvano Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nivaldo Rego in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Nivaldo Rego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Cássio Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cássio Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Dantas in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nivaldo Rego in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Ventelharia's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Miguéis came free, but Claudemiro Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Idalécio Ferrão couldn't finish the play. When Ventelharia's Delfim Dantas in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Ultra Ferrolhos CF defense, Gaspar Novais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Prestes. The Ultra Ferrolhos CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Prestes should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ventelharia getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gaspar Novais hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ventelharia fully deserved thier win.
