Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Delfim Teixeira made the kick off which started today's match. Artur Cabral succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Cássio Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Cabral in the 6th minute. Frederico Miguéis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guarda having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Hélder Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Barbito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, SC Barbito's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Miguéis came free, but André Guarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jorge Campos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Barbito's protests and gave Jorge Campos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Barbito getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jorge Campos hit a great ball. André Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Miguéis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artur Cabral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Frederico Miguéis in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Barbito's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Viriato Mourinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ultra Ferrolhos CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Barbito the free kick. After 29 played minutes Ultra Ferrolhos CF got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Mourinho. After recieving a nice pass, SC Barbito's António Magalhães tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Viriato Mourinho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Virgílio Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Guarda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgílio Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Cabrals short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Cássio Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, SC Barbito's Delfim Teixeira got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Artur Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Barbito's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgílio Pinheiro made a kick off. Artur Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Prestes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Cabral in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Cabral scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Virgílio Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Ultra Ferrolhos CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Seabra to maneuver through the defense. SC Barbito's António Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 80th minute of the match Jorge Campos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorge Campos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hélder Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cássio Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Artur Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Prestes having to interfere. Artur Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
