Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Genizio defense, Roberto Barata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olavo Eanes. The Genizio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olavo Eanes should have stopped the shot. When Bruno Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genizio's protests and gave Bruno Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. If Joaquim Valério had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Bentes in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olavo Eanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th match minute, Pereirinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Barata to maneuver through the defense. Matias Bentes got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Olavo Eanes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Matias Bentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pereirinhas 's Romão Boaventura got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olavo Eanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bentes in the 26th minute of the match. Amado Palmeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Ramos. The supporters of Genizio booed when Pereirinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gentil Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genizio's Olavo Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Bentes in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bentes in the 36th minute of play forced Genizio's goalkeeper Olavo Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Eanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bentes in the 38th minute of the match. Olavo Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Valério, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Matias Bentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Genizio's Olavo Eanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Genizio's goalkeeper Olavo Eanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Barata. After 61 minutes of play, Genizio's Elias Marinho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elias Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Matias Bentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Olavo Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Cláudio Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genizio and the Pereirinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pereirinhas played a much better game than Genizio and deserved their victory. The Genizio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
