Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Portugal Gold Academy's Duarte Gouveia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Gouveia in the 4th minute of play forced HR TEAM's goalkeeper Silvério Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Januário Candal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mauro Vilaverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Sabino Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, HR TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Gouveia came free, but Silvério Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Hugo Poças who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal Gold Academy's Mauro Vilaverde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Flores during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mário Flores hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Silvério Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Gouveia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Januário Candal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Gouveia in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Pestana got free with Silvério Rios in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portugal Gold Academy's Mauro Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Poças in the 34th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Salvador Gomes put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in HR TEAM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty!

The wind increased when Hugo Poças made the kick off in the second half. Mauro Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Poças in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Januário Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, HR TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Pestana came free, but Silvério Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal Gold Academy's zone, Hugo Poças stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Vilaverde came out of the goal and Hugo Poças tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Portugal Gold Academy booed when HR TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Gusmão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Tomás Barros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvério Rios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Américo Carneiro's late challenge caught a Portugal Gold Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Américo Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Américo Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Duarte Gouveia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal Gold Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Gouveia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Gouveia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Silvério Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Rios came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal Gold Academy's Duarte Gouveia. But to his dismay, Duarte Gouveia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 90th minute, Aquilino Gusmão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, HR TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Pestana came free, but Silvério Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HR TEAM's Silvério Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Pestana in the 97th minute of play. In the 99th minute Duarte Gouveia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in HR TEAM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 100th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Portugal Gold Academy a penalty, 101 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomás Barros, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HR TEAM's Silvério Rios. 5-0. Portugal Gold Academy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HR TEAM for a fine match.
