Juvenal Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Alfredo Flores elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Caio Alcântara's late challenge caught a Teteu Sport club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Eiró during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juvenal Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduardo Quaresma hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes, Ermesinde sport club's Ramiro Lobato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipe Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
