Fc almancil's attentive Dário Queirós managed to snatch the ball when João Montenegro made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. Patrício Rios made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aloísio Campos immediately put the ball in play. Fc almancil's Francisco Peixoto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrício Rios, made in the 14th minute of the game. Vicente Madeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Moutinho in the 22nd minute of play forced Odeleite F.C's goalkeeper Vicente Madeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Virgílio Moutinho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Odeleite F.C's Vicente Madeira. Vicente Madeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Madeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Monteiro in the 44th minute of play. With his leg Vicente Madeira managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Fc almancil's Virgílio Moutinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mário Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Campos got free with Nuno Leiria in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgílio Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Fc almancil's Nuno Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Miranda in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Fc almancil booed when Odeleite F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Soveral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odeleite F.C's João Montenegro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jesualdo Caires, made in the 69th minute of the game. Fc almancil's Nuno Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Fc almancil from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Odeleite F.C's Nuno Leiria threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mário Miranda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Virgílio Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vicente Madeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Fc almancil's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Campos came free, but Nuno Leiria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odeleite F.C's Vicente Madeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Moutinho in the 87th minute of play. Mário Miranda hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc almancil fully deserved thier win.
