Spectators: 7416 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mário Palmeira kicked off to start the match. Jesualdo Caires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Madeira having to interfere. Tomé Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Touriz booed when Fc almancil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Leiria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Moutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Madeira was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Fc almancil's Virgílio Moutinho, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Fc almancil. In the 12th minute Virgílio Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Madeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Touriz got a freekick which was hit by Mário Palmeira. Virgílio Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Adalberto Portugal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgílio Moutinho in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Madeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Virgílio Moutinho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Madeira. After having played for 34 minutes, Leonardo Macena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc almancil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Macena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Osvaldo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc almancil's Nuno Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Palmeira in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Mário Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgílio Moutinho to make the kick off. David Madeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Touriz's Osvaldo Sampaio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Micael Portela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Leiria having to interfere. Virgílio Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Touriz's Mário Palmeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Leiria. Nuno Leiria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Touriz's goalkeeper David Madeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Touriz's zone, Virgílio Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Madeira came out of the goal and Virgílio Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Micael Portela scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Leiria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dário Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Madeira having to interfere. If Jesualdo Caires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Virgílio Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomé Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. David Madeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Touriz were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fc almancil side.
