Spectators: 7411 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dário Macena kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Dário Macena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Pinhal's Dário Macena made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Leiria was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Macena in the 16th minute of play forced Fc almancil's goalkeeper Nuno Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Leiria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Borba went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute of the match Zarco Vilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Leiria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Laurentino Gama sped through Fc almancil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Leiria. Fc almancil's Nuno Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Pinhal in the 25th minute of play. Nuno Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Macena in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Fc almancil's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Pinhal came free, but Nuno Leiria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Pinhal's Vicente Pinhal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Leiria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 33rd minute Dário Macena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Fc almancil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Toscano to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Vicente Pinhal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After a rather tough play, Pinhal's Paulo Abrantes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Dário Macena notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Fc almancil's Nuno Leiria. Nuno Leiria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Pinhal got a freekick which was hit by Romão Amaro. 55 minutes into the match, Pinhal's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Moutinho came free, but Durval Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Fc almancil's Nuno Leiria got control of the ball when Vicente Pinhal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Macena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Couto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Pinhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Abrantes to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Leiria made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Vicente Pinhal sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute of the match, Laurentino Gama tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Leiria saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Pinhal could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Nuno Leiria however easily saved by the left post. Paulo Abrantes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Nuno Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Macena in the 83rd minute of the match. Nuno Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurentino Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Pinhal got free with Nuno Leiria in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fc almancil booed when Pinhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurentino Gama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romão Amaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nuno Leiria could save by the left post. Nuno Leiria came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pinhal's Vicente Pinhal. But to his dismay, Vicente Pinhal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8.
