Salvador França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Vilaverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Salvador França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Veloso in the 7th minute of play forced Barb0za FC's goalkeeper Salvador França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, SC Carregueiros's António Veloso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador França was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Carregueiros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santiago Reis 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Barb0za FC booed when SC Carregueiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Lessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes SC Carregueiros got a freekick which was hit by António Veloso. António Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barb0za FC booed when SC Carregueiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Quaresma in the 33rd minute of play. The goalkeeper, Vicente Melo, was totally fooled by Barb0za FC's Vicente Parente, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Santiago Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, António Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carregueiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Parente might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Parente ran back to his position shaking his head. Timóteo Luz's late challenge caught a Barb0za FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timóteo Luz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, SC Carregueiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timóteo Luz to maneuver through the defense.

With a little luck, Barb0za FC's Salvador França got control of the ball when Fabrício Vilaverde tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Barb0za FC booed when SC Carregueiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Fábio Godinho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador França. The goal made the score 2-3. A collision led to Barb0za FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Januário Candal hit a great ball. Salvador França acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcelo Lessa. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Vicente Parente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barb0za FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Parente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Vilaverde in the 84th minute. Barb0za FC's Salvador França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Barb0za FC from getting a goal against them. SC Carregueiros's Vicente Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Reis in the 91st minute of play. Vicente Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Parente in the 93rd minute of play. Zarco Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vicente Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
