The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee ignored Fintinhas's protests and gave Alípio Miguéis a yellow card for diving instead. Alípio Miguéis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Américo Cesário succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 90th playminute. Fintinhas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
