The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Matias was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Rúben Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 89th minute, Adalberto Leme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Noel Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Leme in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palaios FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
