Portugal Roots Generation's Almiro Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nivaldo Laureano in the 7th minute of play. Grupo Desportivo do Topo's Paolo Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Mesquita in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Benedito Vital mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grupo Desportivo do Topo and the Portugal Roots Generation players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grupo Desportivo do Topo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Benedito Vital hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nivaldo Laureano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Almiro Poças. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Almiro Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nivaldo Laureano in the 21st minute of the match. Nuno Barcelos scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almiro Poças, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvador Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Grupo Desportivo do Topo got a freekick which was hit by Nivaldo Laureano. Nuno Barcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Poças having to interfere. If Salvador Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Mesquita in the 45th minute of play. Almiro Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nivaldo Laureano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Nivaldo Laureano made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Paolo Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal Roots Generation's Salvador Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cândido Trigueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Portugal Roots Generation's Eusébio Póvoas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Almiro Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Vital, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Almiro Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Macedo in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Portugal Roots Generation's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Macedo came free, but Almiro Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes, Cândido Trigueiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal Roots Generation and the Grupo Desportivo do Topo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cândido Trigueiro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Macedo in the 70th minute of play forced Portugal Roots Generation's goalkeeper Almiro Poças to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes, Afonso Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grupo Desportivo do Topo and the Portugal Roots Generation players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Portugal Roots Generation's Dércio Bernardes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almiro Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Vital in the 84th minute of the match. Anselmo Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Grupo Desportivo do Topo's Paolo Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Mesquita in the 93rd minute of play. Salvador Mesquitas short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Paolo Oxarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grupo Desportivo do Topo had won after a very even match.
