Spectators: 7853 (Terracing: 5891, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) Boavista Futebol Clube's Antonio Antonas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Boavista Futebol Clube's Sabino Prada got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes Boavista Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Prada. João Paulo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamilton Calçada, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Azelha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Antonio Antonas scored to the left of an out of position Cesário Costa, making the score, 1-0. Azelha FC's Cesário Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Azelha FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Valério Novais took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cesário Costa to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Azelha FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Renato Melo hit a great ball. Alberto Laureano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Carlos Mota fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azelha FC's protests and gave Carlos Mota a yellow card for diving instead. Evandro Durães charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evandro Durães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Azelha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Durães to maneuver through the defense. Cesário Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filipe Vilaça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 28 played minutes Azelha FC got a freekick which was hit by Hamilton Calçada. In the 29th minute, Bruno Gois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Azelha FC defense, Antonio Antonas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesário Costa. The Azelha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesário Costa should have stopped the shot. With his leg Cesário Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Boavista Futebol Clube's Matei Alucai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 37 minutes into the match, Azelha FC's goalkeeper Cesário Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valério Novais. With a little luck, Azelha FC's Cesário Costa got control of the ball when Antonio Antonas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesário Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Alucai in the 40th minute. Azelha FC's Cesário Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Azelha FC from getting a goal against them. Azelha FC's Cesário Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Antonas in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamilton Calçada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cesário Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Argider in the 52nd minute of play. The Boavista Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Boavista Futebol Clube's Antonio Antonas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 59th minute Antonio Antonas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesário Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Alucai scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesário Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Azelha FC's Pascoal Portugal got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Filipe Vilaça sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Azelha FC's Cesário Costa didn't even have to move. Cesário Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Argider in the 67th minute of play. Cesário Costa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Boavista Futebol Clube's Alfonso Argider. But to his dismay, Alfonso Argider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 82ndth minute of the game Antonio Antonas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azelha FC's Cesário Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesário Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Antonas in the 85th minute of the match. Cesário Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Antonas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Azelha FC's Cesário Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Argider in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Boavista Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
