The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Antonas to strike the kick off in the second half. Valério Azenha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Antonas in the 51st minute of play. Alfonso Argider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Azenha having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Antonas in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valério Azenha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oitavos FC's Valério Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Antonas in the 60th minute of play. Valério Azenha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Antonas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Eurico Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antonio Antonas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Valério Azenha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oitavos FC's Valério Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Argider in the 74th minute of play. Boavista Futebol Clube's Timóteo Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Boavista Futebol Clube's Antonio Antonas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valério Azenha. That made the score 0-7 after 83 minutes of play. Valério Azenha made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Antonio Antonas sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Antonas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute.
