Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amável Diegues kicked off to start the match. SC Moliana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicolau Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Leiria in the 4th minute of the match. Amável Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Azenha having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Amável Diegues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélio Leiria to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 90th minute Amável Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Alves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valério Azenha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valério Azenha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amável Diegues's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The SC Moliana supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Moliana would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
