Filipe Vilaça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Angélico Abrantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Antonas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hildeberto Lobato took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Paulo Almeida. After 74 minutes, José Peseiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Vade and the Boavista Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boavista Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Vade.
