The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldaír Soveral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Salgado in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermano Ornelas in the 5th minute of play forced SC Vade's goalkeeper Israel Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Angélico Abrantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Vade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dozer FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes SC Vade got a freekick which was hit by Angélico Abrantes. Israel Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermano Ornelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Israel Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Hermano Ornelas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Israel Campos. The goal made the score 1-0. Hermínio Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldaír Soveral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldaír Soveral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avelino Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Aldaír Soveral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Salgado in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dozer FC defense, Hildeberto Lobato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldaír Soveral. The Dozer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldaír Soveral should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Hildeberto Lobato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Vade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dozer FC the free kick. In the 31st match minute, SC Vade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Lobato to maneuver through the defense. Israel Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Hermano Ornelas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Israel Campos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Salgado in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldaír Soveral saved Dozer FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Dozer FC's Hermano Ornelas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Israel Campos. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. Aldaír Soveral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adão Câmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hermínio Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldaír Soveral was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hermínio Salgado made the kick off in the second half. SC Vade's Rúben Alvarenga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aldaír Soveral but with some difficulty. Dozer FC's Aldaír Soveral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Dozer FC from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, SC Vade's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Festas came free, but Israel Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermínio Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aldaír Soveral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dozer FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Januário Carvalhal was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Vade's players had a chance to rest. Aldaír Soveral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Salgado in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermano Ornelas in the 68th minute of play forced SC Vade's goalkeeper Israel Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dozer FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after SC Vade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermano Ornelas took the corner. The corner ended in Hermano Ornelas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Vade's Israel Campos did a great save. Palmiro Severiano hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes SC Vade got a freekick which was hit by Adão Câmara. In the 77th minute, Hermano Ornelas made a precise shot to the right of Israel Campos. SC Vade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Elias Belo's late challenge caught a SC Vade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Belo helped the player get up and apologised. 87 minutes into the match, SC Vade's goal looked a bit too open when Hermano Ornelas came free, but Israel Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 88 in the game by Hermínio Salgado from a close distance when the talented Aldaír Soveral managed to make a qualified save. Dozer FC's players were relieved. Israel Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Festas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Hermínio Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldaír Soveral having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dozer FC had played much better football throughout.
