Nicolau Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Leitão in the 10th minute of the match. Amável Diegues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Santiago having to interfere. Manuel Regalado hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Soutaria 99's goalkeeper Jordão Santiago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Câmara. Jordão Santiago made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Fábio Câmara sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Amável Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordão Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Moliana's Wilson Alves came free and shot a quick shot against goal 35 minutes in the game, fortunately Jordão Santiago had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Amável Diegues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jordão Santiago came out and tried to block the shot, but Amável Diegues slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Moliana's Amável Diegues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jordão Santiago. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. The supporters of SC Moliana booed when Soutaria 99 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Regalado didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Nivaldo Balsemão from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Jordão Santiago's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 47 minutes into the game, Anselmo Lobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Moliana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soutaria 99 the free kick. In the 47th match minute, SC Moliana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Lobo to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Amável Diegues made the kick off in the second half. Jordão Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Câmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amável Diegues struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jordão Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Moliana. Jordão Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Alves in the 56th minute of play. Soutaria 99's Jordão Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amável Diegues in the 58th minute of play. If Amável Diegues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Soutaria 99's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Alves came free, but Jordão Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Fábio Câmara notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Soutaria 99's Jordão Santiago. Jordão Santiago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in SC Moliana's zone, Renato Leitão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolau Borges came out of the goal and Renato Leitão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soutaria 99's Jordão Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Câmara in the 69th minute of play. Jordão Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Wilson Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Moliana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Amável Diegues took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordão Santiago. Jordão Santiago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 85 minutes into the match, Soutaria 99's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Câmara came free, but Jordão Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Soutaria 99 defense, Amável Diegues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jordão Santiago. The Soutaria 99 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jordão Santiago should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Amável Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordão Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Moliana had played much better football throughout.
