Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yuri Neto kicked off to start the match. After 26 played minutes Mattas got a freekick which was hit by Romão Durães. Inácio Bentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Valadão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Ferreira's late challenge caught a Mattas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. If Silvano Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Mattas's Ricardo Madeira in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dropkick football's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, Lourenço Valadão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertino Resende came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mattas's Ricardo Madeira. But to his dismay, Ricardo Madeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ricardo Madeira struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Albertino Resende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mattas. Yuri Neto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Inácio Bentes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Dropkick football's Lourenço Valadão in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mattas's goalie prevented a goal. Albertino Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Madeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Hipólito Mendes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Malta in the 82nd minute of play forced Mattas's goalkeeper Inácio Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gusmão Granja kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dropkick football's zone, Ricardo Madeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Resende came out of the goal and Ricardo Madeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Lourenço Valadão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Inácio Bentes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mattas's Ricardo Madeira got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
