Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Andrade started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Alvogas's Jairo Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimas Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Borba got free with Dimas Coelho in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Andrade in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almiro Caneira saved Alvogas from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Emanuel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surreal Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Surreal Dragons's Dimas Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Borba in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Andrade in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almiro Caneira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 minutes of play, Surreal Dragons's Hildeberto Novais made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almiro Caneira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimas Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Saraiva in the 33rd minute of play. Surreal Dragons's Leonel Corte-Real suffered a sore thigh after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 34 minutes, Aristides Borba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvogas and the Surreal Dragons players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Aristides Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Alvogas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Silvério Liberato hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Saraiva in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimas Coelho saved Surreal Dragons from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Júlio Esparteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surreal Dragons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a little luck, Alvogas's Almiro Caneira got control of the ball when Emanuel Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Júlio Esparteiro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Surreal Dragons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Esparteiro couldn't finish the play. Hildeberto Novais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almiro Caneira having to make a save. Augusto Eiró kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Dimas Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Jairo Saraiva notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Surreal Dragons's Dimas Coelho. Dimas Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Surreal Dragons booed when Alvogas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Vilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Surreal Dragons's Elias Benevides shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almiro Caneira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Surreal Dragons reached it. If Emanuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Andrade had several of the Alvogas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Almiro Caneira as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Emanuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Surreal Dragons's Diamantino Onofre got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Emanuel Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almiro Caneira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Surreal Dragons left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alvogas.
