When Carlos Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored jaca FC's protests and gave Carlos Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Josué Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Gois in the 12th minute of play. Josué Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Gois in the 19th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes jaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Modesto. After having played for 20 minutes, Leonel Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MTK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuel Gois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Ronaldo Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MTK's Carlos Santiago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, MTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Ribas to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Gois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Josué Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to jaca FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mário Lopes hit a great ball. If Leonel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Gois's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josué Carmona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Carlos Santiago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Falcão went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Teodoro Falcão notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of MTK's Carlos Santiago. Carlos Santiago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 60 minutes, Samuel Gois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MTK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Gois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, jaca FC's Ronaldo Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Samuel Gois received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josué Carmona came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuel Gois slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 70th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Teodoro Falcão notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of MTK's Carlos Santiago. Carlos Santiago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Leonel Esteves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Esteves got free with Josué Carmona in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of MTK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. MTK may have spent more time on the ball, but jaca FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
