Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MTK's Samuel Gois started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Esteves in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertino Resende saved Dropkick football from getting behind. After 6 minutes, Samuel Gois made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dropkick football's Albertino Resende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Samuel Gois fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MTK's protests and gave Samuel Gois a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, MTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Gois to maneuver through the defense. MTK's Carlos Santiago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save MTK from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Dropkick football's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Esteves came free, but Albertino Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Hermínio Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MTK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dropkick football the free kick. Hermínio Vidal hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Dropkick football got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Malta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Esteves in the 32nd minute of play forced Dropkick football's goalkeeper Albertino Resende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Lourenço Valadão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Santiago saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Dropkick football's Filipe Pires got a free kick in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Yuri Neto could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Carlos Santiago however easily saved by the left post. Leonel Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Resende having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuri Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yuri Neto's late challenge caught a MTK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Neto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dropkick football getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Yuri Neto hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Dropkick football's goalkeeper Albertino Resende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Esteves. Yuri Neto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Lourenço Valadão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Valadão, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Samuel Gois got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th minute, Samuel Gois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hermínio Vidal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. If Lourenço Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Valadão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Caires thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Carlos Santiago, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 1-1. In the 89th match minute, Dropkick football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Amaro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dropkick football's zone, Miguel Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Resende came out of the goal and Miguel Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, MTK's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Valadão came free, but Carlos Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MTK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
