Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jairo Saraiva started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 3 in the game by João Sequeira from a close distance when the talented Almiro Caneira managed to make a qualified save. Alvogas's players were relieved. 5 minutes into the match, Looser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Parente came free, but Joaquim Zambujal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Estrela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Looser FC's Emílio Estrela got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Lúcio Parente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvogas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Parente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvogas's Almiro Caneira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Alvogas from getting a goal against them. When Jorge Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvogas's protests and gave Jorge Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Rodrigues hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. João Sequeira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Almiro Caneira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Looser FC. The supporters of Looser FC booed when Alvogas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Parente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Júlio Carreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Jairo Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvogas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Júlio Carreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Looser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Carreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Sequeira was the one to do the kick off. Gervásio Vilar kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Gervásio Vilar charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervásio Vilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute of the match Joaquim Quintas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Almiro Caneira skillfully saved the ball. Júlio Carreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almiro Caneira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Joaquim Zambujal made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jairo Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. João Sequeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lúcio Parente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Joaquim Zambujal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvogas. If Aristides Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Borba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Joaquim Zambujal made a huge save. Almiro Caneira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Carreira in the 85th minute of play. João Sequeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Sequeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Almiro Caneira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Joaquim Quintas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Looser FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alvogas's performance. The match ended with a win for Alvogas.
