After 7 minutes of play, C.F.Real Porto's Horácio Santarém made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almiro Caneira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Lisandro Conde notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Alvogas's Almiro Caneira. Almiro Caneira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albertino Lamego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Caneira having to interfere. If Lourenço Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Jairo Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Conde in the 36th minute of play forced Alvogas's goalkeeper Almiro Caneira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Alvogas's Almiro Caneira got control of the ball when Albertino Lamego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lourenço Severo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Jairo Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Avellaneda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.F.Real Porto's zone, Aristides Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Avellaneda came out of the goal and Aristides Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Saraiva scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Avellaneda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to C.F.Real Porto getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gonçalo Lobato hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes C.F.Real Porto got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Lobato. 96 minutes into the game, Augusto Eiró was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvogas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F.Real Porto the free kick. Augusto Eiró kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. C.F.Real Porto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
