Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aldaír Távora made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Brites got free with Diogo Castro in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Liberato during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in COELHONE's zone, Aparício Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Castro came out of the goal and Aparício Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 10 minutes on the clock, Ruben Dias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of COELHONE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Green Lions:s goal. The referee gave Green Lions a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Quinaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of COELHONE's Diogo Castro. 1-0. After 18 played minutes COELHONE got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Liberato. Aparício Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Diogo Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Lions. Aldaír Távora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Brites hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes COELHONE got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Mafra. 30 minutes into the match, COELHONE's goal looked a bit too open when Aldaír Távora came free, but Diogo Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, COELHONE's goalkeeper Diogo Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aparício Tinoco. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavier Damásio to make the kick off. Eurico Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Esteves having to interfere. COELHONE's Diogo Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldaír Távora in the 53rd minute of play. Cristóvão Esteves came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by COELHONE's Xavier Damásio. But to his dismay, Xavier Damásio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Xavier Damásio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cristóvão Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eurico Matos came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the COELHONE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Matos couldn't finish the play. Eurico Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Esteves having to interfere. Diogo Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparício Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldaír Távora in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in COELHONE's zone, Aparício Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Castro came out of the goal and Aparício Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Matos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 87 minutes into the match, COELHONE's Eurico Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Aparício Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of COELHONE booed when Green Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparício Tinoco in the 94th minute of the match.
