Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aldaír Távora took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Aldaír Távora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldaír Távora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Fyssas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CSRD OPSERC's Petros Fyssas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save CSRD OPSERC from getting a goal against them. Petros Fyssas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldaír Távora in the 12th minute of play. If Aldaír Távora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Diegues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cristóvão Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Caldeira took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Esteves. Cristóvão Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aldaír Távora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Fyssas having to interfere. If Jorge Caldeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes of play, CSRD OPSERC's Elias Diegues made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aldaír Távora came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Green Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldaír Távora couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, CSRD OPSERC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldaír Távora came free, but Petros Fyssas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldaír Távora struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Petros Fyssas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Lions. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Caldeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Aparício Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Aparício Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Fyssas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CSRD OPSERC's Jorge Caldeira got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herberto Espinosa's late challenge caught a CSRD OPSERC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herberto Espinosa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CSRD OPSERC booed when Green Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herberto Espinosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldaír Távora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Petros Fyssas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Green Lions's Aparício Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petros Fyssas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Aldaír Távora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aparício Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Fyssas having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Aparício Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Hermínio Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSRD OPSERC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Green Lions got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Baptista. 88 minutes into the match, CSRD OPSERC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldaír Távora came free, but Petros Fyssas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldaír Távora in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petros Fyssas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparício Tinoco in the 93rd minute of play forced CSRD OPSERC's goalkeeper Petros Fyssas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CSRD OPSERC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Green Lions from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
