With his leg Hermenegildo Sobral managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Galáticos FC's Abílio Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Galáticos FC's Abílio Cunha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Jacinto Vilas Boas came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Galáticos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Vilas Boas couldn't finish the play. Hermenegildo Sobral came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Galáticos FC's Abílio Cunha. But to his dismay, Abílio Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Américo Lencastre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hermenegildo Sobral came out and tried to block the shot, but Américo Lencastre slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 36th minute. Abílio Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Hermenegildo Sobral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 40 minutes, Olavo Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrela★Leonino OFF and the Galáticos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olavo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A hard shot 43 in the game by Abílio Cunha from a close distance when the talented Hermenegildo Sobral managed to make a qualified save. Estrela★Leonino OFF's players were relieved. Diogo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abílio Cunha got free with Hermenegildo Sobral in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abílio Cunha in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermenegildo Sobral prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abílio Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abílio Cunha in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermenegildo Sobral saved Estrela★Leonino OFF from getting behind. Diogo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Mateus Domingos from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Alex Ponte's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Diogo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Galáticos FC were furious when Fabrício Fagundes was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galáticos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Rúben Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Alex Ponte made a huge save. In the 77th minute of the match, Paulino Andrade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Ponte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Vilas Boas in the 84th minute of play forced Estrela★Leonino OFF's goalkeeper Hermenegildo Sobral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Estrela★Leonino OFF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rúben Franco hit a great ball. After 94 minutes, Diogo Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galáticos FC and the Estrela★Leonino OFF players grew even worse after the yellow card.
