After a defensive mix-up in Barbershop Joãorui's zone, Vítor Bentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Vital came out of the goal and Vítor Bentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vítor Bentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Salazar in the 8th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Lokomotiva- Axantrazada got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Bernardes. Edgar Laureano came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbershop Joãorui's Raul Salazar. But to his dismay, Raul Salazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edgar Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Salazar in the 13th minute of play. If Raul Salazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barbershop Joãorui's Jorge Vital proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Barbershop Joãorui from getting a goal against them. Edgar Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Pessoa in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Jerónimo Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Vital. Jorge Vital yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Edgar Laureano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Poças during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barbershop Joãorui booed when Lokomotiva- Axantrazada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Poças didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicolas Pessoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Salazar in the 40th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Vieira during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Renato Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Salazar made a kick off. If Vítor Bentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerónimo Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Vital read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Edgar Laureano made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Nicolas Pessoa sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Pessoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Laureano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Renato Vieira got a free kick in the 60th minute. Edgar Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Salazar in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Fidalgo to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Pessoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Laureano having to make a save. Jerónimo Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jorge Vital tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Raul Salazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barbershop Joãorui and the Lokomotiva- Axantrazada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raul Salazar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jerónimo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vital having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's Bruno Poças got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Salazar in the 85th minute of play forced Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's goalkeeper Edgar Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Pessoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Laureano having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Nicolas Pessoa made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Laureano. Lokomotiva- Axantrazada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Barbershop Joãorui's Hilário Chagas got a free kick in the 95th minute. Barbershop Joãorui's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
