The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fábio Roriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 25 minutes of play, SC Sacoias's Alberto Guerreiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Monsanto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fábio Roriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Hermínio Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hermínio Assis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastião Domingues was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 45th match minute, TORRE DA MARINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Roriz to maneuver through the defense. José Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The TORRE DA MARINHA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Sacoias were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Assis was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, TORRE DA MARINHA FC's Hermínio Assis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastião Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Valter Velasques came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the TORRE DA MARINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Velasques couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Fernando Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, TORRE DA MARINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Monsanto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Guerreiro in the 90th minute. The TORRE DA MARINHA FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Sacoias were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
