Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Barroso made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in GD Chaves's zone, Hamilton Serpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregório Bentes came out of the goal and Hamilton Serpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 7 minutes, Aparício Carvalhal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube Carregado and the GD Chaves players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Sporting Clube Carregado got a freekick which was hit by Aparício Carvalhal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerónimo Palha during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GD Chaves getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jerónimo Palha hit a great ball. André Maciel's late challenge caught a GD Chaves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. Murilo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Barroso in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Aparício Carvalhal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregório Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Clube Carregado's Murilo Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Barroso in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, one of Sporting Clube Carregado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Chaves's goalkeeper Gregório Bentes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murilo Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romão Quinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romão Quinaz in the 45th minute of play. Romão Quinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Murilo Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Murilo Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romão Quinaz in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Pedro Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Aparício Carvalhal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Clube Carregado's supporters rose to their feet, but Aparício Carvalhal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregório Bentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murilo Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Melo in the 64th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Sporting Clube Carregado got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Palha. Sporting Clube Carregado's Murilo Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Carregado from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Aparício Carvalhal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregório Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Aparício Carvalhal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregório Bentes. GD Chaves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aparício Carvalhal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 76th minute, GD Chaves's Murilo Melo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murilo Nóbrega. Murilo Nóbrega yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Murilo Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Barroso in the 81st minute of the match. Murilo Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Aparício Carvalhal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Caeiro got free with Murilo Nóbrega in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Romão Quinaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Murilo Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 minutes of play, GD Chaves's Pedro Barroso made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! GD Chaves's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
