Bela Vista FC's Ricardo Festas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Guterres in the 7th minute of play. Miguel Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Pimentel in the 9th minute of the match. Paulino Eirós short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Ricardo Festas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Guterres in the 12th minute of play forced Bela Vista FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Festas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gusmão Portela managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fuinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gusmão Portela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Festas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Festas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Eiró in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, SC Fuinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Pimentel came free, but Miguel Trigueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Guterres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Francisco Vargas put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Festas. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Danilo Guterres made the kick off in the second half. Adriano Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Paulino Eiró had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Festas. Bela Vista FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Eiró was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Miguel Trigueiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Fontoura in the 64th minute. After 64 played minutes SC Fuinhas got a freekick which was hit by Gusmão Portela. Abel Fontoura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes SC Fuinhas got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Belém. 70 minutes into the game, Gusmão Portela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ricardo Festas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Francisco Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Carlos Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bela Vista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fuinhas the free kick. In the 75th minute, Carlos Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Pimentel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Miguel Trigueiro made a huge save. Ricardo Festas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Fuinhas fully deserved thier win.
