Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rdth minute of the game Gusmão Portela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GD Chaves's Gregório Bentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregório Bentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gusmão Portela went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. SC Fuinhas's Danilo Guterres got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Eiró took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregório Bentes. Gregório Bentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. SC Fuinhas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Pedro Barroso scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Trigueiro, making the score, 1-2. Miguel Trigueiro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Romão Quinaz sent off a good shot on target. When Francisco Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Fuinhas's protests and gave Francisco Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes SC Fuinhas got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Vargas. Gregório Bentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Guterres went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gusmão Portela during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GD Chaves booed when SC Fuinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusmão Portela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Trigueiro made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Romão Quinaz sent off a good shot on target. Israel Caeiro's late challenge caught a SC Fuinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Caeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Israel Caeiro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gregório Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Eiró in the 36th minute of play. SC Fuinhas's Miguel Trigueiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Barroso in the 40th minute of play. After the first half SC Fuinhas were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miguel Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romão Quinaz in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Barroso in the 62nd minute of play forced SC Fuinhas's goalkeeper Miguel Trigueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gusmão Portela hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Pedro Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Miguel Trigueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Eirós short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Gregório Bentes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74thth minute of the game Danilo Guterres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GD Chaves's Gregório Bentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gusmão Portela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregório Bentes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Belchior Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Resende was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, one of SC Fuinhas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Fuinhas. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for GD Chaves. Belchior Ribeiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Trigueiro. 2-4. GD Chaves's Gregório Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Guterres in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to SC Fuinhas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Paulino Eiró hit a great ball. Pedro Barroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Murilo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Fuinhas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
