Witold Bondel started the match with the kick off. Maurício Monsanto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Gomes went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, os solitarios's Olívio Vidigal got control of the ball when Hermínio Assis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olívio Vidigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 15 played minutes, TORRE DA MARINHA FC's Dimas Leiria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olívio Vidigal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TORRE DA MARINHA FC reached it. In the 15th match minute, os solitarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Viveiros to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in os solitarios's zone, Hermínio Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Vidigal came out of the goal and Hermínio Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermínio Assis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olívio Vidigal. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. After a rather tough play, TORRE DA MARINHA FC's Jacinto lacerda got a free kick in the 27th minute. Olívio Vidigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Assis's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Maurício Monsanto came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by os solitarios's Witold Bondel. But to his dismay, Witold Bondel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Hermínio Assis made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, TORRE DA MARINHA FC's Maurício Monsanto got control of the ball when Witold Bondel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fábio Roriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Maurício Monsanto made a huge save. Olívio Vidigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Velasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartlomiej Jastrowicz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Pedro Viveiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Roriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olívio Vidigal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Roriz ran back to his position shaking his head. Olívio Vidigal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermínio Assis went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Witold Bondel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Monsanto. Witold Bondel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. TORRE DA MARINHA FC's Hermínio Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. os solitarios's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
