Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Noel Vilas Boas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 5 minutes, José Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almeidas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Bettencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hildeberto Soveral kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Manuel Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Bettencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Bettencourt in the 11th minute of play forced Clube Atlético do Cadaval's goalkeeper Manuel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético do Cadaval defense, José Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Teles. The Clube Atlético do Cadaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Teles should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Almeidas FC's Eurico Quental got a free kick in the 16th minute. Manuel Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesualdo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Lucílio Benevides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Vilas Boas in the 21st minute of play. José Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Bettencourt went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lucílio Benevides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Vilas Boas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Manuel Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Mendes in the 35th minute of play. Homero Cordeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucílio Benevides came out and tried to block the shot, but Homero Cordeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute José Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, José Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeidas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Bettencourt to make the kick off. If José Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, José Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeidas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Bettencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves José Mendes could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Manuel Teles however easily saved by the left post. José Bettencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Teles having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Almeidas FC's José Bettencourt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Teles. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Noel Vilas Boas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almeidas FC's Lucílio Benevides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Leal Júdice made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucílio Benevides was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes Almeidas FC got a freekick which was hit by José Mendes. After 94 played minutes, Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Evandro Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucílio Benevides came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Atlético do Cadaval reached it. In the 96thth minute of the game Noel Vilas Boas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almeidas FC's Lucílio Benevides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Clube Atlético do Cadaval fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Almeidas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
