Spectators: 7779 (Terracing: 5835, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enzo Barata took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes SC Estoris got a freekick which was hit by Hildeberto Poças. In the 8th minute, Isac Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, one of SC Estoris:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Estoris. Esteban Raebert walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 18th minute, Isac Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after SC Estoris's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Raebert took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Isac Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Catarino Gama quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jerardo Zamudio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Figueiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Gervásio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes Isac Azevedo rounded SC Estoris's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After having played for 37 minutes, Isac Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isac Azevedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Lions FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gervásio Vieiras short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Catarino Gama to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xavier Ribas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Catarino Gama skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rd minute, Gervásio Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Estoris booed when Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipólito Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Silvano Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerardo Zamudio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gervásio Vieira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Catarino Gama came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervásio Vieira slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute. Lions FC's Hermínio Neiva was substituted for Hipólito Assunção. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 60th minute Isac Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervásio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Gama having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Neiva. The long shot by Silvano Brito in the 64th minute really tested Jerardo Zamudio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. SC Estoris's Catarino Gama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Azevedo in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Lions FC booed when SC Estoris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hildeberto Poças could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jerardo Zamudio made a huge save. João Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Gervásio Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Catarino Gama was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lions FC's Gervásio Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Samuel Figueiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Raebert to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jerardo Zamudio made a huge save. Lions FC's Jerardo Zamudio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Lions FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Isac Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Brito scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerardo Zamudio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltasar Brites kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Catarino Gama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Lions FC were the better team. Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
