In the 12th minute, Nicolas Miguéis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Teles. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of THRASH ATTACK F.C. booed when Clube Atlético do Cadaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homero Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes THRASH ATTACK F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celso Leme. In the 29th minute, Leal Júdice made a precise shot to the right of Severino Câmara. THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Vilas Boas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Câmara saved THRASH ATTACK F.C. from getting behind. Homero Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Câmara having to make a save. In the 34th minute Leal Júdice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Câmara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damiano Ciccarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Noel Vilas Boas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Vilas Boas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Câmara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, THRASH ATTACK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Leme to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Gustavo Paixão could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Manuel Teles however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Taborda made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Leal Júdice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Vilas Boass short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Severino Câmara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Clube Atlético do Cadaval getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leal Júdice hit a great ball. Noel Vilas Boas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, THRASH ATTACK F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leal Júdice came free, but Severino Câmara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Damiano Ciccarelli in the 63rd minute really tested Severino Câmara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hong Chao Sen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Hong Chao Sen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Câmara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Câmara was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Homero Cordeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Homero Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Severino Câmara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Vilas Boas in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Manuel Taborda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Vilas Boas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Câmara having to make a save. In the 82nd minute of the match Hildeberto Soveral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Câmara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Leme in the 86th minute of play forced Clube Atlético do Cadaval's goalkeeper Manuel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Carlos Eanes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Damiano Ciccarelli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 95th minute of the match Hildeberto Soveral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Câmara skillfully saved the ball. If Noel Vilas Boas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Homero Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
