Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Coutinho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Valter Pinhal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Barata in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes SC Estoris got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Brites. Hugo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Vilaça kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Estoris's Silvano Brito tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Catarino Gama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avelino Carreira went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute Avelino Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avelino Carreira in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Catarino Gama saved SC Estoris from getting behind. Avelino Carreira took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Catarino Gama. Catarino Gama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Enzo Barata received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valter Pinhal came out and tried to block the shot, but Enzo Barata slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 33rd minute. Valter Pinhal came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Estoris's Samuel Figueiras. But to his dismay, Samuel Figueiras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Devils booed when SC Estoris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudemiro Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Devils's Avelino Carreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Catarino Gama came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Devils reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

After 51 minutes, Igor Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devils and the SC Estoris players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute Hildeberto Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Pinhal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Pedro Coutinho made a precise shot to the right of Catarino Gama. SC Estoris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. João Antunes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, SC Estoris's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Coutinho came free, but Catarino Gama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Fábio Sá put in a rough tackle. After 67 played minutes Devils got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Sá. 68 minutes into the match, SC Estoris's Hugo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Pinhal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valter Pinhal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Figueiras in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Devils got a freekick which was hit by Rui Fidalgo. Devils's Valter Pinhal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hildeberto Poças in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Brites in the 79th minute of play forced Devils's goalkeeper Valter Pinhal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Pinhal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hildeberto Poças in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Figueiras came free, but Valter Pinhal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hildeberto Poças in the 86th minute of play forced Devils's goalkeeper Valter Pinhal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Pinhal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Brites, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Avelino Carreira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Catarino Gama, passed just outside the right post. Devils's Valter Pinhal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hildeberto Poças in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Devils's Ronaldo Vilaça got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Devils's zone, Silvano Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Pinhal came out of the goal and Silvano Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
