Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Noel Vilas Boas kicked off to start the match. Jerardo Zamudio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Vilas Boas in the 3rd minute of the match. Xavier Ribas took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Teles. Manuel Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Gervásio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervásio Vieira got free with Manuel Teles in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerardo Zamudio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homero Cordeiro in the 15th minute of play. Manuel Teles made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gervásio Vieira sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Gervásio Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ilídio Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Manuel Teles got control of the ball when Gervásio Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Noel Vilas Boas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Manuel Teles made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gervásio Vieira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Azevedo in the 45th minute of play forced Clube Atlético do Cadaval's goalkeeper Manuel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Keanu Reeves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Lions FC's Hermínio Neiva was substituted for Hipólito Assunção. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isac Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Isac Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Teles. The audience was convinced that Isac Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Teles was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Ribas in the 82nd minute of play forced Clube Atlético do Cadaval's goalkeeper Manuel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Manuel Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Azevedo in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Azevedo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Clube Atlético do Cadaval getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Damiano Ciccarelli hit a great ball. Lions FC's Almiro Maia was substituted for Gervásio Vieira. Lions FC's Angelo Abrantes was substituted for Sálvio Lages. The supporters of Lions FC booed when Clube Atlético do Cadaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Ciccarelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Noel Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerardo Zamudio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isac Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Isac Azevedo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lions FC had played much better football throughout.
